A year after Julia Roberts learned about the complex special needs of her kids, she came to a place where things got lighter. She can’t explain it in totality but there was a critical shift in her thinking; life looked more positive (or she looked at life more positively). She wanted to embrace life and marvel in the little things like she did before she intimately knew the words diagnosis or prognosis. She wanted to laugh and find her sense of humor again. So, she started to talk about her life and The Crazy. She’d refer to all of it as a big ole’ slice of crazy pie and that made her laugh again. And when she decided to start a social media entity that included many facets and embraced her new life, she realized she had the perfect name; Slice of Crazy Pie.
